The first Herefordshire Archery Association (HAA) shoot of the winter will be on Sunday 16th November 2025 at Bromyard’s indoor shooting hall. There will be no club session that day.

Two sessions of Worcester rounds are planned, with sighters at 10:30am and 2:00pm respectively.

The Worcester round comprises 12 ends of 5 arrows each from a range of 20yds at a special face, black with a white central spot. As well as the normal single-spot full face, a five-spot face is also available (each spot having scoring zones 5 and 4 only).

Normally archers shooting recurve bows (including barebow) or longbows shoot at the single-spot face, with those shooting compound bows using the five-spot face, but let us know (ideally beforehand) if you’d prefer the “other” one.

As usual, all members are encouraged to come and join in. If you can let me know whether you intend to shoot, what type of bow you will be shooting, at which face variant and whether you want to shoot in the morning or afternoon, that would help us plan and prepare targets, score sheets, medals, etc.

As a reminder the shooting fee is £3 for adults and £1.50 for juniors, payable on the day.
